The Southern winds change direction in the fall. The lake is low, and we have been digging out some of the heavier trash.

This year alone, I’ve personally pulled out 6 tires. Many of them still have the rims attached. Tires are a pain in the ass to dispose because the dump charges 5 bucks a tire and I have to detach the tire from the rim in order for them to take it.

I did find a paddle board floating in a cove. Finally, something useful. The purple martin gourds will also be put to good use.

The entire casing from a boat motor.

Ya’ll c’mon. Oil cans have no business being in the Lake. Like ever.

I found a ton of bricks, but the focus of this picture is the deflated balloon. Balloons are terrible for aquatic animals and birds. I get it, the balloons fly away sometimes. If you see one, please pick it up.
