I had help this weekend and we picked up a lot of trash. The single use plastic keeps stacking up. When I think I clean an area, I find more bottles buried and stuck in the mud.
Fertilizer is terrible for the lake. Now, I don’t think Melnor makes this product any more and I don’t think they actually sell the chemicals that go inside their spray guns and sprinklers. Regardless,
Nothing like a whole lot of shoes to show we got issues at the Lake.
Plastic toys and ring pop remnant. I get some folks don’t like tomatoes; perhaps they have a nightshade allergy. But, given them to a friend, not the Lake.

Balloons–these things last forever. Try not to let them fly away if you celebrate with them. They get tangled in all kinds of stuff in hard to reach areas.
Random things: cooler wheels, a bowl perfect for potato salad, a light bulb, sponges, a mayonnaise lid, head light, and a clothes hanger. Most of the random plastic and foam look like parts from boats.
Oil, seriously! Fabric softener. A tire repair kit. There was a rusted can of Off. I found a completely full bottle of body lotion. I also saw some “magnolia charm fragrances mist” that I didn’t bother to test.
Inflatable pool float and noodle. I’m gathering quite the collection. .
A blue float. I might actually use this one. Yay, for finding something useful.
