This past Saturday at the lake was brutally hot. But, don’t you worry. I still had time to snag some weird stuff and fill up another contractor bag of trash. Here are some highlights.

A collection of found items including a purple plastic shovel, various small toys and objects, and debris arranged on a flat surface.
Who would have thought finding a shovel in the lake would be groundbreaking. Oh, wait. A vacuum attachments, plastic comb, plastic ring, and a plastic Halloween toy. The plastic toy “fake” bottle floating in the lake along with the “real” bottles sparked all kinds of fictionalize origin stories–“I only started throwing bottles in the lake after watching you, Mom.”
An assortment of discarded items found at a lake, including two dental flossers, a small spray canister, and a used syringe, placed on a gray surface.
Another syringe and vile of something (the label is washed off). I’m not sure if they are connected to the same person. Regardless, look, this is real gross and dangerous. Also, more single use plastic dental picks.
Collected plastic and glass bottles from the lake, showcasing the litter problem. Fireball, once again, a popular choice on the lake.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen this Croc in the wild before. Again, not my size. Oh well.
A collection of found trash items from the lake, including a shampoo bottle, a prescription bottle, lip gloss, a deodorant cap, and a container of “healthy feet” cream.
The can was quite swollen. I wanted to open it. I really did. I just did not want to deal with a smelly, leaky trash bag on my way home. Is it possible to inhale botulism? I’m not a doctor. Maybe someone lost their lunch. Or its dog food.

No, I did not find all of these balls at the same time. I did find the crate. Now, I can start a collection.
